I’m also pregnant, there’ll be about 23 months between my two. I’m under no illusion that it’ll be easy but similarly to you I wanted a second child and would rather have the sleepless nights, breastfeeding and nappy changes done all in one go rather than getting my freedom and career back and then it changing again x
this is very true actually!! financially it will be a big squeeze but nothing impossible. xx
@Terri yes i think you're right! like as much as I am enjoying getting back into my normal life i know it will change if I get pregnant, so might as well do it now and get it over with! it's just a scary though! i've not found motherhood the easiest xx
I have my boy 22months and now my 2 week old. Pregnancy was very hard at the end part and during the sickness part but other than that was okay. I also agree that smaller age gap is better! I say go for it. 🙂
My 2 are 13 months apart, had my girl first and then my son. Honestly it is really hard juggling them both, however seeing how much they love each other and how they can’t go without each other is exactly why I had them so close! Also the older and more independent they get, the easier it gets because they play with each other and you can actually have a sit down 😅
thanks everyone! going to bite the gullet and just go for it!!
I'm pregnant now, I thought the same as you but honestly I prefer the closer age gap in my babies. Also waiting a year or so until your first goes to preschool is a good age gap too as you get that space and time without both 24/7. Also financial side needs to be good or you'll have that stress on top of two children xx
