My medical group doesn’t allow you to if you’re already set up with the prenatal side of things. When I did try to make an appointment they just redirect my call back to the prenatal center to see an ob with whatever concern
Luckily my PCP is also my OB. 🙏🏽 so I do all my OB appts at my PC clinic. But I was told OB’s don’t like to deal with sickness so to see a PCP for all other matters unrelated to pregnancy (i usually inform my OB). If you aren’t experiencing anything that warrants seeing a PCP, you may not need to! You should see what your OB says.
I don’t/haven’t!
@Lauren for months?! 😳 What in the world?! lol
@Bailey wow that’s awesome! 😎
@Fran I told them that I’m pregnant and I have to eat relatively soon after waking in the morning or else I’ll get real sick. So I need something early. And they’re like “how’s 11:30?” Like tf maam, no 😂
Ehhh technically I’m supposed to. But I have to do a fasting lab work and they can’t get me in before 11am for months 😂 So I told them I get regular bloodwork through my OB during my prenatal visits and I’ll just schedule something after I deliver
