I’m following this cause honestly, after a few minutes of Miss Rachel she’s still crawling all over me
@sanjida Almost going to be 2
Im trying to avoid day care.. but seems i have to. Else my baby just watches tv while i work.
sometimes day care might be the only option unless you have any family menders or friends that are willing to help out
Tbh I AM STRUGGLING!! I WFH with my 20 mo and 4 mo and it's a challenge everyday...I initially started playing YouTube videos for them but then my toddler just screamed when she didn't like what was on...I also didn't like the idea of her having that much screen time so I cut TV out almost completely..I bought her a play kitchen, food and other toys that mimic household items b/c she watched me all day and tries to clean/cook anyway so that has helped some. I play music from my phone & I recorded myself singing songs she likes (wheels on the bus, abc's etc) and she really enjoys that..I could play it on the TV but then we get into her throwing a tantrum and I'm not going back to that...I saw some toddler friendly activities on IG that I'm gonna try too. Taking my kids outside even of it's on my break/lunches for short walks, even if its up/down the driveway also tires them out/has been beneficial. Some days are better than others but I refuse to send my kids to daycare at this age. Gonna thug it out lol
it’s very hard to keep them away to be honest, i’ve tried toys and tv on in backround which keeps her occupied for a little then she gets bored and comes to me again, I also do give her tablet while she lays in bed sometimes that works very well and she will stay in bed for a while or even let her sit in the room with me with her tablet providing she stays quiet. It is very hard especially if you work a full day. How old is your little one?
