tracking calories while pregnant

My last pregnancy i never worked out went gained 5 stone. ik currently 11 weeks and have been constant with my work out. Im using an app nutracheck to track calories but at a maintain amount. Has anyone else done this?

I wouldn’t say tracking calories while pregnant is ideal. Just make sure you’re eating in moderation ( not eating for 2) and getting in 30 mins of movement a day, whether it’s prenatal yoga, or exercise. I did some of YouTube throughout my pregnancy. I would say start tracking your calories again after breastfeeding when baby no longer depend on your body for nutrition. But make sure that you’re eating the same as before you got pregnant. Eating for 2 is the biggest lie known to man 😂 baby will get all they need from the blood in the umbilical cord so no need to eat extra. Hope that helps a little xx

I think you’re fine to track if that’s what helps you to ensure you’re eating the right amount. People assume you mean you’re tracking for weight loss but tracking for nutrition and maintenance is good too!
