High calorie

Hey all. My little guy is just not gaining weight the way his doctors would like. We are getting ready to go on vacation and I’m looking for some high calorie snacks for travel and in between meals. He eats well during meals but I just need something a little more hardy than veggie straws. Anything helps. I’ve got him some pediasure( per Dr recommendation) and other snacks with higher calories. She recommended anything over 100 calories. Thank you.

Cheese blocks?

Celery and peanut butter, maybe some raisins added if you’d like. Maybe prepare Quesadillas(turkey or ham with cheese) if you have a cooler can put it in there and heat up whenever you can or just a ziplock bag. Maybe boiled eggs too(if you have a cooler) Crackers are good! That’s all I got but hope it gives you an Idea.

Earths best also has some awesome veggie based puffs and bars

We just got pediasure for our 2 year old girl for her percentile going downhill. I got it before the Dr recommended it since she's my 4th child. I would also recommend the pediasure. It's working wonders for her and she actually asks for it in the morning.

You can also do lunch meat roll ups. Roll some cream cheese in between lunch meat and make pinwheels or as long rolls. Cheese cubes and crackers, I use novaltine drink mix to add vitamins, minerals and extra calories. It's like malted chocolate but with added benefits. It's not as effective as pediasure but for when they start picking up on weight again. When pediasure is being limited due to weight gain coming back.
