Choking and vomiting

So earlier my little one (6 weeks old) had a choking episode on milk, had to be tapped on the back to recover and was not quite himself for an hour or so after. He recovered and has had 3 feeds and his first stint of night sleep since. He’s then had a feed and guzzled it, I have a fast let down, and then projectile vomited when winded. Do we think I need to worry he is struggling with swallow or just two unrelated incidents that happened to occur on the same day?

I have a fast let down and my boy often coughs and splutters on it. Apparently leaning back while they feed can slow it a bit. Unfortunately my son wont feed like that anymore xxx

When this happened to me with my baby his doctor gave us saline. I put a few drops in his nose and used the suction to relieve any congestion he had after choking. This helped with his spit ups and they went away within a day or so. As for the fast let down, I usually do the side lying position to help slow it down. But I’m sure they unrelated! But always trust your mom gut and keep an eye on him
