Electric blanket for cot
Is it safe to use an electric blanket in the cot to warm the bed for a newborn - baby would not sleep with electric blanket, I would remove it before placing baby in the cot.
I heard you can use a hot water bottle to warm the cot but I don't want to be going out to my kitchen at 2am and risk waking my toddler. Trying to find ways to get my newborn to sleep on her own for a bit.
I've heard some people doing this to warm the bed since baby wakes at transfer to cold bed. I'm sure as long as they don't sleep with the heated blanket it would be ok.
