Personally I found it helped to try to time ibuprofen to take it about 20 min before nursing, breast gymnastics and lymph massage especially just before nursing or pumping, and I iced after nursing for 5-10min max. With mastitis, rest is also huge too! Easier said than done though.
This is going to sound strange but hear me out… cabbage leaves. Refrigerate a whole cabbage and take the leaves and put them in your bra. They help with pain, swelling and mastitis. It helped me!!!

Oh man, so sorry to hear that! There was a protocol that came out end of 2022 from the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine that led to me switching how I dealt with clogs and mastitis symptoms (several times chills, low fever, but I think only once did I technically have mastitis). You can Google recs but summary is to decrease inflammation with ice and ibuprofen (not heat and aggressive massage), and do not contribute to oversupply (feed on same schedule). It does not always have to do with you or anything you are doing, really. It can be what is going on with baby's oral function.
