@Jessica im booked in to be induced Sunday i wasnt gonna do ahead with it but now i think I might if he isnt here by then x
It’s hard waiting but baby will come when baby is ready. I’m slowly considering but I think I’m going to ride it out as my dates could just be wrong xx
i had my little girl at 41+2, was booked for induction at 41+5 but went into labour naturally at 41+1 xx
It’s so hard though just do what you feel best x

I was fed up too, so I totally feel ya. I was sooooo done with being pregnant. My consultant wanted to induce if I went over 41 weeks. However, I had my baby on 40+3 so rather than having my little girl on the 22nd of December I had a Christmas Day baby…we called her Connie (great name btw 😉) xx

@Beth worth the try could be different for everyone i added pineapple and cranberry juices its did start pains but nothing after that x

I had my little boy at 41 weeks 2 days.
I would say your body is preparing for birth very soon , before birth you get overly agitated, very emotional , feel like giving up , it’s the rush of hormones getting ready to leave your body . I would say baby will be here within 2 days ! Good luck !

Awww bless u chic I went 6 days over and waters went after 4th sweep then she was here in 45 mins called me super woman lol hopefully ur midwife will offer u a sweep if still no sign within 3 days sort of thing xxx
@Olivia she tried giving me one last Monday but couldn’t because my curvix closed and to high she basically said im booked in to be induced now and that i wont need to see her again x
I don't think she shudda tried till u hit the 40 week mark propa I wud request another go at a sweep if possible bbe as ur 40 weeks now so ur body will know its roughly time and cervix cud be at better place etc by now I was induced with my second n it ended up being emergcy c section after 8 hours of labour n only getting to 3 3cm n he was turned twice as he had an unstable lie. So kept going breech after successful turnings I think being induced put more pressure on the body bbe xxxx
41+4, if you want to move things along more naturally then sex and accupuncture are good options. Try and stay chilled book things in that you enjoy, a massage, lunch with a friend, a funny box set - anything oxytocin inducing.
I’m 41+2 days at the moment still going strong but getting fed up x
