Is it me or…

Due in October but feeling relaxed about getting all the essentials baby will need. Have started buying clothes, and friends have kindly passed on baby bits but am I alone in this?! Shopping trip booked with John Lewis for beginning of September 🤑 💵 lemme know mamas to be if you’re all sorted, any recommendations/advice x

No! I’m soo relaxed. I was this way with my first too. If baby comes tomorrow, all we have in our flat for her is a few clothes 😂 I find because it’s so far away I don’t really get into planning and preparing. I got my travel system at 35 weeks and packed my hospital bag in early labour with my first. Will also be dedicating September to preparing. Some of my favourites from my first - Tutti Bambini Cozee next to me crib, Clair de Lune Moses basket, Momcozy breast electric pump & Tommee Tippee manual pump. I also highly recommend prepping freezer meals, harvesting colostrum & hypnobirthing x

Love this! Phew! Thank you re recommendations- much appreciated!

I’m due end of October and I’m pretty much there. Need to wash bag clothes, buy some bigs for me to take to hospital and then pack bag. In October ok also going to book in a house deep clean and a car deep clean valet. Still need to sort the nursery out, mainly decor and a chair. What sort of things would you like advice on, happy to help. I’m a FTM so used lists from other mums on here or people I know and created a spreadsheet hehe

I thought I was relaxed 🤣 but I’m 33w due October 3rd and I’m spending this week getting everything done, I go back to work for 3 weeks and then I’m off in September and I just want to relax then and mentally prepare myself 😂 My friend also passed on a lot of baby clothes, I picked up a lot of brand new off vinted too which was a great bargain. We ordered our travel system 2 weeks ago, due to be delivered when I’m roughly 36w. I got the Snuzpod for the bedroom and mum said she will get a Tutti Bambini Cozee for downstairs - we aren’t bothering with a moses basket. I do plan on breast feeding but as I’m a FTM no idea how it will play out so I don’t plan on buying a pump or nothing until after it’s well established. All the other bits like bottles, bathing, we picked up this week. I think I’ve got everything absolutely necessary but not too worried if I haven’t Xxx

Due mid october and only just started to sort stuff out a week or so ago, but I do feel pretty organised with it all despite feeling relaxed. I mainly want to relax and be done when I go away on my mat leave x
