I adore the potato stage, but my girl isn’t too grumpy, so that’s nice. I have a 2.5 year old, this is the stage I wish I could move on from… too much sass and disobedience, and I’m trying to break cycles but dang she test me!

Girl, I feel the same way. Don’t feel bad some days I’m like oh my goodness. Some times I wake up and I’m kind of like why are you screaming for no reason lol 😂😂😂

I want to soak up every moment but I also want to sleep and see some real smiles

I hate the newborn phase, but I know it's needed. I definitely tolerated it better with my first. This one there is already so much resentment building up. I actually have to keep myself in check reminding myself that it's a newborn, he's figuring stuff out, and I'm just cranky cause there is too much to do.

Mine is 6.2 weeks. I’m so exhausted, I miss sleeping at least 3 hours straight every night. He sleeps whenever he wants and sometimes he doesn’t even sleep in the day but staring at 12:00am always sleeping for less than an hour and waking up. Super exhausted 🥲

Iam totally loving the new born phase. My baby is 10 weeks old and I want to stay in this stage. I miss him being a new born he is such a good baby!! Just really sad I have no memories of when we got him home I have to keep looking at pictures and videos ♥️

GIRL I see TikToks of moms chilling with their LO and I'm here frantically trying to keep mine fed and happy and entertained while also trying to keep up with housework AND line up a desperate attempt at publishing a novel by Halloween. Maybe if I had a live-in helper I'd be more chill 🤣🤣 but I tell myself, reaching our dreams was never meant to be easy. 🤭✨

@Makayla this is so real 😭🤣🤣

I just find the newborn phase so boring. Give me some real interaction please. Like what am I supposed to do all day with the LO. I run out of things to say and I'm a talkative person.

Ugh gosh I really feel you. Never been a fan of the newborn stage. Sleeping no more than an hour at a time absolutely kills my brain. Give me a toddler any day but the newborn phase just destroys all my coping mechanisms. I can't wait for it to pass...

I have a 2 week old along with an almost 2 year old. It's alot and I find myself getting frustrated faster and I hate it. I told myself I am going to be more patient. I'm back to doing everything in the house so that adds to it.

@Ian Pregnancy with a toddler and the newborn season too is SOOOOOO hard!

@Morgan YES TF IT IS🤣🙄🤣

Dude, newborns are super difficult. They're needy, and fragile, and complicated. This current baby is honestly probably my unicorn baby but it doesn't matter because newborns are still needy, fragile, and complicated. My first born....oh man I felt like I was suffering every day.

100% relate. i don’t remember the last time i got more than 3-4 hours of sleep at a time. i’m so exhausted and sleep deprived 🙃

@Sophia how many weeks or months your baby is?

I know it might sound bad but this is what I’ve been doing for the past 4 days, cause my son is a really bad night sleeper: -Not letting him nap from 4-9pm. - giving him only 2 ounces of milk every two hours, a couple hours before bed time (which is a less amount than what he likes drinking) - Tummy time at 9:00pm so he can get tired - 9:30pm I give him a 10min bath, i like to see at least 3 yawns. - after the bath I dress him and give milk until he is full. Usually he falls asleep with the bottle on his mouth. He is been sleeping a minimum of 8 hours and maximum 11, waking up 2-3 times to eat and change the diaper, and falling asleep in less than 30min

@Diomaris_ my baby is 5 weeks now
