Newborn always squirming and gurning
Is it this normal? My newborn is rarely calm and still. Always moving and squiring and gurning. She doesn’t cry loads so not in obvious discomfort but some squirming for poos and farts and wind

Yes mine is really bad at night; I fully burp her and make sure she got all her farts out but it starts as soon as I put her down in the next to me and goes on all night! I can't sleep through it either, so end up getting only couple hours sleep but she sleeps through it
It’s normal for newborns to do that because their muscles are really relaxed so they grunt and squirm. They’ll grow out of it but it’s normal 😊 mine keeps me awake as he is so loud lol x
Following bc my newborn is the exact same. She does it when she has trapped gas
