I love your outfits! What's your Instagram handle
Thank youšitās willowandwren24
I'm in the same boat as you. I hope we can flourish soon ā¤
Iām in the same boat! Iāve written and sell digital products about natural and instinctive breastfeeding. I have an ebook and program available but still trying to sort out Instagram algorithm to help make my page known š¤·š¼āāļø Goodluck momma, your clothes are adorable!
Good luck to you both! It is frustrating feeling like you get lost in a sea of so much competition!
Followed on Insta ... teamwork xxx
I am. I'm a counsellor and mediator I am also currently on a sick leave (mental health) from my fulltime job. Instead of keeping up with social media algorithms which is a huge undertaking with a toddler, I just took paid for a Google ad and honestly it has been a game changer for me. Business is not consistent yet, though and I hope to get more business out of it but the added bonus to that is that the more clicks there are on your website through the ad, even if it doesn't generate leads, the higher up on the Google search engine my website gets. Last month was insane (Mercury Retrograde AND a super full moon in the same month) and I am finally starting to slow down a bit. Also, I honestly feel that people don't always get the beat search results when they search in social media vs Google. But that's just my experience.
I'm not sure where I heard this but for Instagram account they said you should start with interaction with your follower first , when I said start with it mean first thing you do before you post anything go through other people Instagram story watch them like them, like your follower comment, reply comment etc, then post your post. It something their algorithm shift, you interact you real person that need exchange not just the brand that only wanna sell ( cuz for brand they want you to pay, which not bad if you know how to target your audience, don't choose to wide, and no need to put crazy amount of ads, it also help actually) I hope this help.
In the same boat! So many hats to wear it's a constant struggle!
Iām also a small business owner and am have just finished my first trimester. I found juggling work and being so tried hard! A large proportion of the work I do is selling at markets, events and festivals, so I took on more staff to take more on so that I could do less and this has helped me massively! Itās also helped my business to grow. I know mine is a different type of business to yours so not sure if this is helpful, but delegating has been a huge part of helping me to manage! My partner has taken over lots of my admin jobs for the business which has also been amazing. Your babies will grow up to be inspired by you for making this work for them ā¤ļø
Same same, mama! Your feelings are so valid ā„ļøā„ļøā„ļø
Me
Yes ! I have a Private practice for mental health and counselling services which is the easier part but social media, marketing etc hurts my brains.
So I buy nearly all handmade clothes for my little one because he is in cloth nappies and they are usually more forgiving around the nappy area than conventional clothes and generally much nicer too! I see your instagram is quite small and you have a little video showing stuff you have made but some things I find from other businesses that might helpā¦ Firstly - can you get a website or pay for someone to make one? Doesnāt need to be too fancy Secondly - pick some things you really like making and offer them on the website, some pre-order but have a few ready to post bits, donāt need loads just a few things. Thirdly - find big handmade businesses, find their ambassadors and follow them. They might instantly follow back and if you can interact with them many love a small business to work with! They are just a few easy things that might help get you out there a bit more. It is really tough but having a plan to follow will really help x

Not a small business owner so no advice here, but just wanted to say I love the outfits š - assuming they are ones you have made. I love finding smaller businesses to buy clothes for my two. Unfortunately I don't have tiktok or Instagram, do you have a Facebook page? I'm so old school š
Iām not a small business owner but have done some social media for work. Your instagram needs a direct link for people to buy your items - do you sell online? You can set up a link tree account for free which then lets you add links to your instagram profile for free. Unfortunately saying āDM for enquiries or purchaseā is another step for people to do and will make it harder to convert to sales. Love the products btw!
@Jennifer Thank you so much Jennifer, that means a lot š„° yes I have a Facebook page also called Willow & Wren, thank you so much for all your help ladies xxx
Thank you @Mieke thatās really helpful, I do want to set up a website and I will do in the future just trying to figure out the made to order aspect of it all!
