@Grace I’m so sorry 😢 losing a pet is not easy. But your little baby is resting so much easier now 🤍 I hope we hear back Monday morning. This is the first pet I’ve ever had that’s had cancer and I’m trying not to let it get to me too much until we have more definitive answers
Our first corgi had cancer, she was just four years old. But it wasn't in the same spot as where you're describing. She had an inoperable brain tumor. We tried chemo, but it just made her even sicker and wasn't going to cure the tumor, so we stopped chemo. The tumor made her have seizures, so we did continue the seizure meds so she could live her final months as comfortably as possible. But, unfortunately, there was nothing that could be done and she passed at just four years old 😭 it was devastating! Now, again, this was a very different cancer than what your dog has. The vet said her tumor was super, super rare. I'm hoping the best for your dog! I've read lots of stories of dogs who go on to live long lives following successful cancer treatments!
