Oh dear you will need some assistance I know a lady with triplet who’s partner had to quit his job she couldn’t do it alone. I have twins I can’t imagine triplets x
I got as much help as possible. My parents, nursery for my eldest, and a part-time nanny (a lady who works at my eldest’s nursery). I feel like I spent most of my maternity pay on childcare but I decided there is no price to my sanity! x
I would say get as much help as you can. The best is to start practicing now, and see how it will work. Starting from next week might be more difficult Check what needs to be done in a day, and see/find the best way to cope with that. Is there anything you can do beforehand that might make tomorrow easier? Your partner can still help when back from work, so I would say make the most even if alone. Also, if your older children go to school you might have a bit of extra help there. Good luck 🤞
Routine is key I'm a single mum of 4 all together the older two at school I still have a routine for my boys it's not always easy when all 4 together but I just get on with it all you can do good luck you got this💪
My triplets are 3! Hubby went back to work when they were 4 weeks old. Routine is definitely the key. I made sure I prepared everything the night before while hubby was home to make it easier on me the next day. I made sure I had a routine from day dot. Till this day my kids eat together sleep together and wake together. I didn’t breastfeed they were in formula. So I ensured I had bottles prepared with water so adding formula was easy. I had a schedule for when they had bottles, changed nappies slept and everything.
I’m following this as my partner goes back in 2 weeks & I will only have twins to look after & I’ve been working. You’re going to smash it mumma 🫶🏼
