Best Diaper Cream

Hi fellow moms, I’m looking for some advice on diaper creams. I’ve been using A+D ointment for my 7-month-old, but I’ve noticed it’s not quite doing the trick, and she occasionally gets irritated. I’m considering switching to Desitin, but before I do, I wanted to ask for your recommendations. What’s been the most effective diaper cream for your little ones, especially for sensitive skin? Any tips or experiences would be really appreciated! Thank you so much in advance! 😊

Have you tried corn starch? It’s my go to!

Also do baking soda baths Luke warm with oatmeal! Try and air out the area as much as you can!

I use aquaphor on my son. He’s never had a really bad rash but anytime he would start to get one I put aquaphor on it and it’s cleared the next day or 2.

I liked using castor oil - it’s so thick that it creates a nice barrier to promote healing; just know that it’s one of the oils you shouldn’t eat or let baby eat as it has a laxative effect

I love desitin. I use desitin or butt paste

our pediatrician told us triple paste would help and it’s a life changer. We get the extra strength one!

Metanium

I mix triple paste with Vaseline and it works wonders!

I love aquaphor !

Balmex!!!

Aquaphor with the purple label

I was using organic brands and it wasn’t working even used aquaphor. My grandma said to use Destin and his rash went away immediately.

I mixed boudreaux’s butt paste with baby Vaseline and that helped my son with sensitive skin

Heyy! I tried several and aquaphor made her even more irritated. I started using Honest and I’m in love with it. Triple Paste is a Cheaper option though.

Desitin the purple tube is the best

My baby has sensitive skin and triple paste helped her heal well. Make sure to apply the paste when her bum is dry. The pediatrician advised us to only use wipes for poops or if possible to just clean her with water and let her air dry for a few minutes before applying the cream
