Hi. I just got my first apartment 🎉

Here is the question. I lost my job recently and I just found out that I will have to pay for electricity and water. I applied for food stamps, and just I got approved 🙌. I'm in Maryland. Is there a service that will help me pay for those bills while I find a job? I live I. Columbia MD. Please let me know thanks

Yes. When you filled out the food stamp application there should have been utility assistance questions so you could apply at the same time. But you should be able to go back to the DHS to apply

@Karizma they told me only if I am behind thw about to cut it off I'll get approve other than that I'm wasting my time. Is thst true? Lol what about water?

I’ve never heard of anything for water but I got my gas paid and it was not late. I say go look for yourself and still try to apply
