PCOS and weight loss

I have lost appx 10kg after my gynaecologist told me I am not ovulating, so I took it into my own hands to make changes. I decided to do an ovulation test yesterday (CD19) and to my surprise, this is the darkest lines I’ve ever had! I even had to do 2 tests to ensure it wasn’t faulty. My question I guess is, is it possible to ovulate on CD19? My periods are regular 28-30 cycle but all the apps tell me I would’ve ovulated CD 12-14?

Yeah you can still ovulate hun! Well done on the weight loss how did you do it?! I’ve never had a positive ovulation test, you should start tracking your bbt too t make sure your temp drops x

Thank you! Honestly calorie counting and a more balanced diet! Nothing crazy! Yes I should really. I’m due my period next week, it just feels late to ovulate. My GP wanted me to do day 21 progesterone bloods but I am unsure on when do to it if I’ve possibly only ovulated yesterday 😭🫶🏻

Some women ovulate late into the cycle it doesnt mean anything bad, just means youve a longer cycle than other ladies its completely normal, as long as your luteal phase is longer than 11 days you have the opportunity to conceive as your body needs the luteal phase for implantation
