Ovulation confusion

Hey guys, I’ve been tracking my ovulation using 3 different tests each day. Test one - a cheap strip Test two - a slightly more expensive boots test Test three - expensive clear blue digital ovulation test My clear blue one showed a flashing smiley face for two days prior and today showed up with a static smiley face- which indicates a peak. My cheaper tests got darker and now this evening have gone lighter… so this all indicates I’ve had my peak. However, according to the Premom app my tests have all been low … does this mean anything? I’m confused as the tests have clearly gotten much darker and my clear blue one indicates peak ovulation but the Premom one says they’re all low, so it’s super confusing. Any suggestions would be super appreciated ❤️. This will be our 7th cycle, so I’m trying to really hone in on what’s going on. X (Photo of Premom tests in comments)

How many days since your last period is it I'm just curious x

This is day 13. I’m consistently between 26-28 day cycle. My period started 13 days ago xx

I’ve also had an internal ultrasound a month ago and they said that structurally everything is fine, and I don’t have any signs of PCOS or Endo. Also, I’m 33 just for info xx

The cheap strips you're using are terrible I find. Easy@home are good and also cheap and work with the app. Don't pay too much attention to the number I suppose, just the line darkness

You’re looking for the test line to be as dark or darker than the control line. That will be your peak test, and then you ovulate 12-72 hours after that. From looking at the test strips I wouldn’t say any of them are positive or peak. If you have regular cycles you could have missed your peak. Test at 11am (don’t drink much beforehand) - that’s when LH is highest. Don’t test with first morning urine.

@Amy but then my clear blue has gone from showing a flashing smiley face to a firm smiley face , so surely that means it’s a peak? I’m just confused as the app says it’s low

@Amy also I’ve been testing twice a day

@Charley yes, which is why I’ve used 3 different types … my concern isn’t with the strips, as I’ve used 3 different types, twice a day and I’ve used cheap ones, mid priced ones and expensive one (clear blue digital ones) .. it’s clear they’ve gone darker and my clear blue one has gone from nothing, to a flashing smiley face to firm static smiley face, which indicates a peak but my questions is that the Premom app suggests the lines are all low … so my question is can you have a peak, and ovulate, even if the Premom app still says it’s low?

@Samantha yes, as I said in previous comment don't pay too much attention to the number. The premom app is not designed to work with these tests anyway.

@Charley so sorry, I misunderstood the number thing. The Premom app confuses me so much. I get what you mean. I’m just trying to be so meticulous as it’s month 7 of trying but it’s so hard to navigate if that makes sense?

@Samantha the app will work better if you use easy@home strip tests, they're pretty cheap to bulk buy and you could use them 3 times a day either alongside or instead of the clear blue if you wanted.

@Charley thanks, I’ll use them next cycle…though hoping I don’t need to 🙈🙏🏼

@Samantha you’re testing too early though. Test later in the morning. And maybe try tracking BBT as this accurately pinpoints ovulation, whereas OPKs don’t.
