Pre-Labor Anxiety

I’m a STM but had my daughter almost a decade ago and had somewhat of a traumatic birth experience. My due date is next week and I emotionally cannot get it together. Anytime I start experiencing cramping or labor like symptoms I break down and the imminent fear of laboring again is getting to me. I went all natural with my first and want to achieve that again. I guess I’m just here for encouragement, I don’t want my anxiety to stall labor but I feel so fearful.

Try to remember every birth and labour experience can be so different from the time before , trust yourself lovely ! You got this xxx

Mama, you got this!! I had my first baby 11 years ago and I’m due later this week with baby number 2.. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t scared… but I keep telling myself that my body knows just what to do. We have already done this successfully once! It’s really important to focus your energy on the outcome you want. I have been doing Hypnobirthing with Anja meditations on YouTube. Repeating positive birth affirmations. Focusing on thinking about how good this labor will be! I’m going all natural at a birth cottage. It will be mind over matter. Our bodies already know what to do, we just need to keep our minds at peace and focused on the positives. Found a quote on Instagram “Worrying is like worshipping the problem” ..so don’t give it any power! Keep your thoughts positive 💜💜💜 sending you all the good vibes

You got this. That fear and anxiety is so uncomfortable but remember that those feelings don’t have ANYTHING to do with your outcome!! Your body knows what to do naturally and it will do whatever it needs to! Your body was quite literally made to do this! that’s one of the matras I learned early on from @/ painfreebirth on instagram and I love their content so im using some of their mantras for myself! (bc my ass is NOT paying $200 for their class right now loool)
