Have you looked up hypnobirthing or breathing techniques? No matter what happens in your birth, being able to feel calm and in control will help both you and baby x
I’m 37 weeks and also really nervous too. I’ve started telling myself that thousands of women around the world do this every day so that means that I can do it. I’m hoping the affirmation will kick in by the time I have to give birth.
@Amy thank you so much for your advice Amy , I know birthing plans don’t always go as we want them to but we always prevail in the end! I hope you and baby boy are enjoying the love and living the best possible life 💙
@Katie I have looked up hypnobirthing and it does look very calming , I’m staying calm on the outside but on the inside I am in a storm but I know when my body is ready to let me doll see the world I know I’ll be ready to xx
@Louise it is very daunting a lot more when it’s first your bubba , and exactly that’s what I always go back to woman were born to do this men wouldn’t have a clue 😂 our bodies can do such amazing things I see women as superheroes we got this girl 🩷 please keep me updated on how you’re feeling and if anything happens within the next few weeks your life is about the change for the absolute better xx
Honestly? It’s out of your hands so try not to stress. You can have all these plans and it may not go how you want or expect. Just know no matter what, when you hold your baby in your arms it won’t even matter. I thought I’d have this lovely water birth and ended up 36 hours in labour and an emergency section. Absolutely not what I wanted but as soon as I held him I didn’t even care and the section was nowhere near as bad as I anticipated in the end! X
