Brow lamination

Hi everyone, does anyone know if I can get brow lamination when pregnant? I’m past the first trimester but advice online is conflicting. My brow lady has said yes but I just wanted to make sure xx

Yes you can once you past your first trimester

Yes you can

I do brow lams professionally and I’ve always been told as per my manufacture guidelines pregnant/breastfeeding girls aren’t to receive a brow lam due to the chemicals and unknown risk to the baby and possible reaction but that could just be the brand I use. I use zola brow lam kit for reference x

Only if you’ve done it before and can be sure your technician has never given you an allergy before. I’d advise against it if you haven’t find it before. An allergic reaction around the eyes takes time to heal, and can be very painful. Besides, antibiotics are also restricted now, so better be safe than sorry.

I used to perform my own brow lams before pregnant and never had an issues and went to do another one a few months later so did a patch test again as it had been a few months since my last brow lam, I ended up with a reaction from it and turns out I was actually a few weeks pregnant then but I didn’t know. Hormones change so much when you’re pregnant so just be super careful xx
