Reproductive immunology/antibody tests

I am gearing up for my third embryo transfer in January and I am looking into further testing before this goes ahead. I'm keen to hear if anyone has experience of testing for antinuclear antibodies, anti-thyroglobulin antibodies, anti-DNA, NK cells, Th1/Th2 cells etc.? Did the results reveal anything new? If so, did anything change in your protocol to help the success of implantation? It's easy to get in too deep with all the different tests and wondering which ones to consider. I have suspected endometriosis and a family history of autoimmune disease. Please share your experiences/opinions/thoughts of these kinds of tests!

Hi Jodi, I had four failed transfers (one was ectopic), I asked for further tests & they found I had an anticardiolipin antibody. I was put on blood thinning injections & steroids (I had been on steriods for two transfers to help with my endometriosis). We transferred our last frozen embryo, a B grade and I’m now 12 weeks pregnant. I’m still on the blood thinners & likely to continue these throughout the pregnancy ❤️

@Emma did you have the immunology tests whilst pregnant or before you got pregnant? Just wondering as a private clinic want to do them when I get pregnant (and if!) instead of before but I would much rather know what’s going on prior to hopefully becoming pregnant again (I’ve had two miscarriages recently) xx

Thanks in advance!

@Charlotte I had them before I was pregnant :)

Thanks Emma xx
