ASMR - part of my self care routine
Hi everyone! I’m mother to my 3 year old daughter and last year I discovered ASMR, which I’ve been watching and listening to almost everyday since so it’s a big part of my self care routine. It’s been amazing for helping me sleep, relax and ease off bouts of anxiety. I really wish I had it in my life sooner, especially in the newborn phase when PND and serious anxiety were a battle. If you don’t know, ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) is a reaction you get to nice sounds (or sights or smells) and can feel like tingles across your head and down your spine. Anyway, I feel really passionately about how effective it is and really want to introduce other mothers to it to see if it can help ease their minds, offer comfort and some time for relaxing. I decided to start my own channel and wanted to share with this lovely community. I’ve only posted 2 videos so far but they’re here if you’d like to check them out!
