We have Santander and you get cashback for some of your direct debits.
Agree with Sophie. We have a joint Lloyds one. My partner has a personal Lloyds one and I have nationwide.
We had a starling joint account
We have personal lloyds then joint Monzo cause it was just easier to open xx
I second Monzo, it's super easy and practical
We’re with Barclays and then separately Nationwide and HSBC xx
We both bank with barclays and we have a joint account too with them - makes it so easy to transfer and stuff when its all in same place
You can get cashback with Santander for Direct Debits
We have a nationwide joint bank account and then separately first direct and NatWest. We've found nationwide good, as they've given us £100 a year just from being a loyal customer the last two years running!
Monzo
Monzo!!
I think a standard bank account is the same wherever you go. We have a NatWest premier account and get things like phone & travel insurance included, but we do pay a fee for it.
I second starling, they're fantastic
We have separate accounts for separate bills (Union, nurse registration for me and he has separate for his motorbike and car costs as I don't drive) but have a joint Monzo account as it was easy to set up, we can use it when we go on holiday abroad with no added fees and it also allows us to put a budget for the month so we can see when we're close to that and what we're spending money on regularly. We also do 'Pots' when saving for particular things which you can set a goal for and lock it so no money comes out until a certain date or we unlock it. We also do roundups into the pot as well

We bank with separate banks, but our joint account is with NatWest. We chose it because it was simply the only bank open on a Saturday when we could go into town to open it!
Most current accounts will let you open them as a joint account. We have a Santander one 😊
