This is so great to hear ! xx can i ask how you got her to do it ? my one still wants me to be with her and screams if i leave the room
@Irsa we did this when my little boy was 11 months old you have to start off very slowly and leave them for say 1 minutes at a time. The next time 2 minutes and so on. Our first time took 40 mins but after that he’s always just gone to sleep himself
That’s lovely 🥰
Thank you so much @Alex @Maria 🥰 it’s these little things, that mean so much! Hope your almost two years olds are happy, healthy and thriving!
@Irsa bless her! It just means she has a lovely relationship and connection with you 🥰. I would notice that my little one was getting agitated and started putting her in the cot after I changed her last evening nappy, singing and chatting to her. I’d then pop out and say, mummy back in a minute. Sometimes she’s fine, sometimes she’d scream the house down 😂. I just kept repeating this but leaving the time more and more. If it was 10/15 mins and she hadn’t settled I’d just pop her in my bed and put her to sleep but she’s got the hang of self soothing now. I hope your little one picks it up soon, be kind to yourself. These things can take time 💖🥰
Awww well done! This is a big achievement! I remember the relief of my little boy starting to do it. Clever babies!
