I'm due Nov 4th, still no baby either. I'm not planning on induction until 42 weeks like Makenzie said
I'll probably give her until 42 weeks also as long as everything medical is normal. My OB brought it up at my last check and said we would need to discuss next week due to my mature pregnancy (I'm 37 which apparently puts me in the geriatric mom category 😆)
My first came at 41w1d. I was supposed to be induced yesterday at 40w but there was a staffing issue at the hospital so ended up cancelling it and just going to let things take their course. Suspect I’ll go close to 41 again this time since I have no signs of labor being close.
My due date was Nov 6th and lost bit of mucus plug no other signs yet .. I have GD and I’m diet / exercise controlled so my OB I’m considered low risk , L& D is crazy busy and unable to induce so far . Baby movements are fine and I have been trying everything possible to start labor . Should I be worried?
I don't think so, but definitely call your OB with any worries. For me I'm just so uncomfortable and sick of being pregnant... But sounds like the babies are fine and just us mommies are over it
Yup, I feel ya! Edd was today, Nov 8th. Been having lots of back pain, some period like cramping, lost a little bit of my mucus plug earlier this week and that’s about it. OB said I wasn’t dilated at all last week (39w). He didn’t check today as he said not much changes within a week. So now I’m scheduled to see him again next Friday (41w) and discuss induction. Really hoping this little guy comes this weekend, I’m so ready to be done! Lol.
Sameeee!!!! Fingers crossed for us both!
My first came at 41+2, my second came at 41+3. I'm currently 38+5 and mentally preparing to go to 42 weeks so I'm not disappointed as each day goes by. It's very common for first time moms to go over 41 weeks. I've learned I just carry babies longer. They are healthy and happy so it's worth the anticipation and back pain amd sleepless nights. Just hang in there. I wouldn't think about induction methods till 42 weeks though
