RANT!

I get so offended when anyone comments on my appearance. I shared a picture with a friend and she thought it was a great idea to tell me that her coworker is 31 weeks and our bellies are the same size (I’m 24 weeks). Now I’m even more self-conscious wondering if I’m gaining too much weight. I never thought I’d be pregnant and worried about my weight but I can’t help but stress about what my body is going to look like after I give birth and if I’ll ever be happy with the way I look again.

Everybody’s body is different. You’re beautiful regardless. You’ll loss that weight in no time. Just make sure your baby is healthy.

People are so annoying, trust me. When I announced (10 weeks), my MIL said i was showing when I clearly wasn't. And I've had people comment on my appearance regularly. I just don't take it personally anymore. My OB says I look great and keep doing whatever I'm doing. You're literally growing a human, and everyone shows differently.

I feel the same way. Never expected to feel so self conscious. People really don’t understand the impact of their words. Try not to let them get to you. They have no idea what it’s like until they’re in it themselves!!

@Alana sooo cute 😍

@Karissa it’s sooo annoying I’m really trying not to let it get to me but it’s getting hard to ignore

@Maddie it’s really a mental battle between constantly telling myself it’s normal and it’s okay because I’m giving my daughter life and thinking maybe I’m eating too much or eating the wrong things and that’s why people are saying things.

A coworker today was shocked that I'm not due till February 🤦🏻 My babies love to hang out there! My test of if I'm gaining too much weight is what I look like from behind. If I don't look pregnant from the back then I'm okay lmao. People are so dumb. I wish they'd restrict their words to "you look great!"

@Karissa THIS! I announced at 13 weeks and my sister (who is also pregnant) said she "knew it" cause I looked bigger / the weight I gained. I definitely did not look bigger at that point and even her own husband gave her a shocked look for her saying that and said "wow" to her. I'm a life long runner and take pride in my fitness/ recovery after having my daughter, where my sister was probably around 60 lbs overweight before preg-- some people just need to keep their thoughts to themselves. Just listen to what your doctor says. If they don't see a problem, then you're doing great mama!

Every bump is different just like every baby! 💗
