I had the contraceptive implant put in when I had my daughter, my periods went back to being regular and I’ve never been late other than when I found out I was pregnant. I wouldn’t be so bothered if it was a couple days but because it’s 10 I’m nervous x
Do a test as no contraception is 100% effective then go from there. There can be a lot of reasons why periods are late that aren't pregnancy.
Yeah just test to be sure but it’s most likely a normal side effect of the implant. I had an IUS prior to trying for a baby, with some changes to my cycle including missed cycles and the Mirena IUS fitted after my daughter was born. discovered a year later it shifted and embedded into my uterus. Obviously the implant is different but my point is it could be something more serious or it could just be simply a missed cycle. Better to be safe than sorry
You might have ovulated late, loads of things can cause it like being ill. Just do a test

Better be safe and get a test. If it’s negative then it could just be a side effect from the implant. If it’s positive you need to book an appointment asap. What implant do you have?
