Is the name Alexandra timeless or dated?

My husband and I have been through so many names and the only name we have both thought is “ okay “ is Alexandra nickname Ally. I feel like the name could grow on me but I dont know if it’s classic or too dated..

We did older first names and more modern names for both of our kids. We have an Isaac Ryan and an Amelia Sky

Thank you we already have an Oliver James, and are thinking Alexandra Sophie. Struggling a lot to agree on a girls name 😅

Maybe I’m bias, but I like it 😂

Definitely timeless! Plus, so many nickname options that she'll be able to choose from. I know an Alexandra who goes by Lexa, which I love.

Alexandra over here and I think it’s classic x

I really like Ally for short ☺️

@Maria me too it feels a bit more feminine to me than Alex

Another ‘Alexandra’ over here 🙋🏼‍♀️ most people call me Lex / Lexi than Alex which I actually prefer xx

I love it I think it’s really classy!

I never go buy Alex. People used to shorten my name to that when I was younger and I hated it! Now I’m older I always go by Alexandra and correct people if they try to shorten it lol. Except for family, who call me Allie :)

Alina 💜

Another Alexandra over here (although I go by Alex) and I actually love my name! :)

My name is Alexis, and I think Alexandra is definitely timeless with lots of nicknames for her to choose from and go by. People call me Lex, Alex, and even Alexa sometimes, and I don't mind.

I think Alex is a pretty common name for boys and girls and maybe people might try to call her that but Alexandra seems more timeless to me!
