Work from home/remote

Hey mamas!! My husband and I have fallen on hard financial times (lol who hasn’t to a point 😂) but I’m trying to figure out if there is some way I can contribute financially! I currently just stay at home with my 7 month old. I don’t have any family near and we can’t afford childcare. What are yall doing?? And potentially ideas of what I could do with my mildly Velcro bub 😂 My background is fitness/healthcare

I wish I could give an answer but all I gotta say is good luck. Same boat here and my hubs is now getting a second job instead of me trying to find remote :)

Fitness background? See about seeing if there's any fitness classes via zoom or discord that are looking for instructors. Longer term solution? Get educated on prenatal and postpartum fitness.... And teach video based classes or in person classes for expecting moms and moms that have kids. It's definitely a needed demographic. You could start that small regarding if you taught classes, but if you found a few other physiotherapy educated moms and worked together to raise capital where you might start out renting a space, you might slowly be able to , with class payments work your way up to being able to rent out a studio for your small business

Heck, you could offer some classes as babywearing exercise classes ( obviously lower impact because you're adding 10-20 pounds of kid attached in structured carrier )

Well, physiotherapy/prenatal and postpartum fitness background educated are both useful , so ideally you'd want at least three moms , and probably at least one with the physiotherapy knowledge.

Basically, prenatal and postpartum fitness is as much about gentle and doing things at your own pace.... As it is about understanding the body's own physiology naturally and then also knowing how to prevent injuries as well

So none of those are work from home.... But if you slowly started a small business that benefitted you and the community that definitely would help bring in funds.

An easier option is being a nanny and bringing your kid with. Alternatively, maybe something seeking an on call nurse? What area of healthcare is your experience in? Is it nursing or something else ?
