I don’t remember when we had our first date night alone without the baby, but we’ve had a few. We’ve even been able to get away for a whole weekend by ourselves.

@Kristen how did you do that? I left him alone for one night and had so much guilt about it. But I NEED me time.

We just had it to go to haunted horror nights at universal. It felt nice but I was glad when I got home to my baby girl ! She's 6 months old

@Haileigh the first time was hard. And honestly, it’s still a little hard being away from him. But it’s like you said, you need you time and/or time alone with your partner. You have to trust your little one will be ok. And it gets easier. You only feel guilty because you’re a good mom, and want to take care of your baby’s every need. When you do make it out for that date night, just don’t let your guilt overwhelm you, acknowledge it, take a deep breath, let it go, and enjoy yourself. You’ll be back to your little one soon enough.

I had my first baby sitter at like 3m pp I’m almost 7m pp but it was family and always family

With my first it was about 4 month pp for about 5 hours with a close friend. This time around about 5 months pp with my mom for about 4 hours on our anniversary. The first time is always the hardest!
