Oh I've got the opposite! I'm. 25th Jan and due 17th Feb. Feel like I cant plan anything just incase 😔
I think realistically you are just going to want to be cosy with baby. It’s only a few weeks and there’s a chance they come late too so could even be closer and you never know what your recovery will be like particularly if c-section. My girl was born 3 weeks before my birthday and it was summer which did making getting a bit easier but was post emcs. We met friends with baby at a local pub to us for lunch so very low key and we could get there/home whenever we wanted. Would be maybe nice to do something like that with close friends if you feel up to seeing people but keep it open in case you aren’t up to it. Definitely wouldn’t have felt ready to leave bub and was EBF. Even if just at home no reason your partner/family can’t organise your favourite dinner & cake etc. Getting out the house those first few times and feeding whether BF or figuring out bottles feels a big deal the first few times. Maybe could also have a voucher for something to do for yourself to use once baby is older.
I’m the opposite my birthday is the 1st Feb and baby is due on the 17th.. I’ve decided this year to do a nice lunch out at a local pub with my husband and then spend the rest of the day at home being cosy.. Will plan to do a spa day further down the line which is what I usually do for my birthday x
Could you do a fancy meal home delivery like something from Dishptch? Or go out for lunch with baby? Baby cinema?
Same here I’m due 1st March and my birthday is the 15th
Thank you for all your lovely suggestions and comments everyone! Appreciate you all 🥰💕
My baby was born on 18th January and my birthday is the 23rd. I just enjoyed my new baby and didn’t do anything else
My first baby was just before Christmas, so my husband and I planned Christmas day just the three of us and honestly it was my favourite Christmas! Just soaking in newborn cuddles, a gentle walk, great food, and no pressure. I'd do the same if it was my birthday, not Christmas x
If you’ve got someone to watch baby could always organise a spa day or something for done pamper time 💗 I turn 30 a few days before I give birth so I’m getting a spa day then a nice lunch etc once baby is here and I’ve healed from my section x
