Congratulations!!
How much did she weigh
@Saskia 6 lbs and 5 Oz
Congratulations! She’s beautiful. I’m due on the 4th and hoping she isn’t late as I’m ready to meet her now. Did you have a natural labour? Getting a bit nervous now but 8 hours sounds really good for a first baby.
Congratulations!!!! ♥️♥️♥️
Congratulations 🎊
@Bethany she was very quick. I was 1cm when I was first checked, then an hour later I was 2cm. At 2cm I asked for pain relief (but this was always on my plan). I ended up starting with paracetamol, then pithidine about 30 minutes later. I was very very drowsy and it really took the edge off the contractions for about an hour. But then I was 9cm and too far for an epidural. I progressed so quickly. I did have to mentally prepare myself, but your body will really help you out with it. I was pushing but my body was also doing half of the work. Just remember that everyone's birth story is different and you can tailor your care to your own needs in those moments ❤️ you got this xx
Sounds like you did amazing and it’s great to hear a positive birth story. Well done and thank you for sharing, congratulations again. ❤️
Congratulations, what was your gestational week?
Congratulations 🩷
@Lea I was 37+3. I don't think I did anything in particular to induce labour. I did a little more walking, than usual, the day before. But I experienced extreme hip and pelvic pain the Tuesday prior. After this my belly dropped and I was pooping (TMI sorry 😂) every time I went to the bathroom for about 2/3 days. I also was super hormonal. I cried, I was more anxious than usual.
@Victoria sounds challenging! But I am glad you are ok now!! Congratulations once again and hope you have a speedy recovery!
She’s a beaute! I hope you’re both well 💙 x
@Victoria oh my god, I’m experiencing severe pelvic pain today. It hurts to walk 😫 x
