Are you someone that has a “birthday month”

A birthday month means YOU are celebrating your big day all month long. This can look like dinners, parties, traveling….or whatever you have planned/ are into. Typically one would expect gifts on more than one day during said “birthday month”. 30-31 days that’s alll about you. A birthday week is the same concept but you are celebrating your big day for 7 day. And a birthday weekend is..the whole weekend (Friday-Sunday) is fully dedicated to your big day. **This would be done every single year of your life. Not just for the special birthday milestones (18, 21, 30, 50)

Maybe not the whole month like every day of the month But my birthday is mid month, we do ‘birthday’ things for a lot of the month Birthday meal, birthday drinks, birthday outing - with different groups! With the girls, with my friends, with my partner, with my extended family, with my little family etc! But I’m also in work so 🤷🏻‍♀️

I don’t celebrate it every day of the month but I use it as excuses for things. Like if I want a second coffee on a day and my husband says I don’t need it I will say I deserve it because it’s my birthday month

Definitely not, I don't even bother for my actual birthday.

Haha my birthday is a week before Christmas, so definitely not a birthday month! Barely even a special day anymore now I have little kids. One of their birthdays is 4 days after mine, so it’s mostly about her now! 😂

I don’t even celebrate my birthday… I’m a December baby

Not exactly but my birthday falls over the school holidays and four days before Halloween. My oh birthday is two days after mine. So it feels like we are doing a lot that week.

Definitely not. When I was in my early twenties I definitely had birthday weekends. But it was just an excuse for party for 72 hours 😂

I used to do like a weekend of celebrating but my birthday is 3 days after my husbands and a few days before Mother’s Day so🤷🏼‍♀️

No, I don’t even notice my own birthday some years. Im usually working or something, it’s just another day. My 30th was an illegal walk around the park during lockdown 😂

people who celebrate for a whole week or longer and so stuck up. they make the whole month about them. your mother probably pushed you out in under 30 minutes, it didn't take 30 days. I'd celebrate on my birthday, but may go out the weekend before or after (if its during the week) for drinks or something I wouldn't do during the week.

I didn’t even know this was a thing. Who the hell is celebrating anything with anyone for that long?

The only person i know who does a birthday month, is honesty one of the most intolerable people on the planet..... For numerous reasons.... But what a surprise, she has to make a whole month about her!

I’m a weekend birthday celebrator haha I usually get a 3 day weekend at the Poconos, Nemacolin, or some kind of spa/excursion weekend getaway thing.

@Kirsty same 😂

It just depends on the year for me there are years when I can go a month long celebrating but usually it’s about a week or two I’m pretty big on celebrating my special day in a big way 💕💕🥰 I’m big on celebrating the birthdays of all of my closest loved ones as well, I love birthdays 😍 it’s definitely my thing 😉💕💕I call it my celebration of life 🎊🎊🎉

We have to do just the actual day otherwise it’s going to be an entire month/week of family celebration as I’m May 17, my husband is May 18 and our son May 20th 🤣

Not all month maybe the whole week. A friend might take me for dinner on Thursday. And then Hubby will take me for a date on Friday. And then I might see another friend on Sat. And then extended fam hosts dinner and blow cake for me on the actual day. Sunday night I might do a big dinner somewhere which I’ve invited weeks ahead. So to spend it w everyone I love I have to spread it out the whole week. But not the whole month. From Aug-Jan there’s someone’s bday every 2w in my fam, my daughters is 2w before me my other daughter is like 3w ahead so I can’t do the whole month even if I wanted to.

Nope. It’s not even that big a deal, if it falls on a work day then I work like normal.

Nope never really did cause my moms is 3 days before mine but now that my daughter and I share a day we might do a weekend.

I’m curious how people celebrating the whole month are finding time and energy to do stuff every day. I’d run out of ideas

my husband celebrates me everyday lol im not sure what you’d call that though, but for my birthday month he’s still extra haha
