Food

How do we feel about MIL giving baby food they’re eating , like biting off of (ex. Cheeseburger) It kind of irked me but i don’t know if I’m over exaggerating.

Depends how old the child is and what food it is. I’ve had family share food with my boys, however, they always ask me first and don’t just assume it’s fine to give it!

I assume it wasn’t handmade burgers then…

Like bite a piece off then give it to baby? I wouldn’t like that, would be much better to cut a piece off with knife and fork and check with you if that’s ok

Right yes like rip a piece off bite it and give it to my baby. I wouldn’t really mind had she just cut a piece to give to my baby or was just ripping pieces with her hands but she was taking pieces off the burger she was actively eating

Nope not good! The bacteria in adult saliva is really different to that of a baby's and can be really bad for their dental health, not to mention the risk of spreading illness too. I've been strict with not sharing icecreams, cutlery etc too

My little one is almost 3 and this would STILL annoy me! I don't want anyone's mouth germs near my daughter! 😬
