Tips/advice on weaning please!!

I feel so so lost with the whole weaning process 😥 I feel like we’re not doing enough for our little one. I have made my own purées on different veggies and he does enjoy! However twice now he has projectile vomited after his last bottle of milk. Bare in mind we’re only giving small tasteful amounts of veggies just so he gets used to new flavours and textures. There’s no explanation to the vomiting, but it was a LOT! not just spit up, and happened 2+ hours after feeding… We are worried to do BLW in all honesty but feel it might be good for him. I don’t know whether to start with breakfast lunch or tea? What has everyone else found works for them and their little one? If anyone has any tips/tricks/weaning recipes/recommendations then please comment or message💗💙

@Chloe deffo will get this book! Thankyou so much! Could I ask how old your little one is now? And if on 3 meals a day how much milk do they have still? It’s confuses me on how to reduce milk/increase meals too! Thankyou💗💗

We started with breakfast and still on purees moving onto to textured lumpy foods. Can I ask how long after a meal are you offering a bottle ? Could be that he's full i know you said you're giving small amounts...just trying to think what could be causing the projectile vomits...

@Samina how old is your little one? Mine is 7 months. The last time he was sick, there was a 2 hour gap between his food and his last bottle before bed. I’m wondering if I should reduce and oz on milk in his last bottle xx

@Abi she's 7 months tomorrow so will be giving 2 meals now, haven't dropped any bottles. You could try a lesser amount and see if that helps and if not I'd say speak to your health visitor or GP.
