Need ideas

Starting actual solids that baby can chew and swallow. My baby is 10 months. The few things I’ve tried so far that he liked is avocado, eggs, shredded carrots and shredded cheese. He seems to like bite size food instead of strips/wedges so far. I’m just scared really to give him anything. I’ve tried sweet potato he didn’t seem to like it. And carrots in wedges and didn’t seem to like it either but shredded carrots he ate it all. When do you know to give him toast or like a French fry? If you have a 10m old I would Love a photo of their plates. I need ideas for breakfast and dinner. Thank you so much!

Those plates are so cute

I just gave my baby quinoa, sweet potatoes, broccoli and cream cheese I seasoned with garlic, pepper and paprika

8 month old loves: Cucumber sticks Toast Red pepper strips Pitta bread Pitta bread pizza Cheese Falafel Puff pastry parcels

I think around 9 months I started giving bite size pieces of really soft food. I did a slow cooker one night (and fully shredded the meat at the end) and my little girl devoured it! (She didn’t take to solids before about 9 months either and then flicked a switch and became a foodie). I know it’s scary, but we serve the same things as we’re eating and find she eats a lot better if we’re all having the same. Classic favs are spag bol, shepherds pie, slow cookers (curries, chicken pasta etc), steak or schnitzel and chips.
