Eh, like any other area you have your good sides and bad sides. Downtown Easton like (ferry st and Washington st) are horrible areas…. You wanna stay near the mall area and forks… I would say Bethlehem township is a good area for the most part and nice parks for the kids.
What part of PA is Easton? I’m in Northwestern Pa near Edinboro
We just moved to the lehigh Valley 2 years ago from NY. We visited many times before choosing an area. To be honest, downtown Easton and many of the city areas of Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton feel very run down to me. There is an area of Bethlehem by Main Street that is nice, with lots of restaurants and is quite quaint. But over all we really loved the western side of Lehigh Valley in the suburbs. Towns like Emmaus, Macungie, and Orefield (where we live). We are in Parkland School district which is know as one of the best in the area. East Penn school district is another high on the list and I believe that one is near Emmaus/Macungie, if school district is a factor for you. Besides that, these towns i mentioned are really beautiful areas and lots of the shopping places we personally enjoy like the only wholefoods and costco in the lehigh valley, as well as others.
I’m 30 Mins from Easton I live in the poconos
If you haven't visited Easton and some of the other areas, I highly recommend doing that first a few times if you can. That really helped us before we settled on an area. If you have any other questions feel free to reach out to me and I'd be happy to share any knowledge or insights I can 🙏🏼🥰
Hi I’m on the other side of Allentown it is a little more country (Amish) over here. I’ve been to Easton, you’ll be very close to Jersey and New York, it is a busy area.
Idk much about the area my fiance does lol but you will be about 45 minutes from me .
