Due date today - still no babyš¢
Looks like Iām going to be joining the December 2024 babiesā¦ any advice that put people into labour? I feel like Iāve tried everything. I donāt see my midwife until the 10th December and thatās when Iāll be induced if baby no appearance but I asked if I could have a sweep this week at my appointment & due to staff levels they said no I just have to wait until the 10th for hormone dripā¦ so what can I do? Iāve tried the obviousā¦

@Helena Unfortunately they wonāt offer me a sweep due to staffing levels? Which I donāt see how that affects it to be honestā¦ they just booked me an induction yesterday for the 10th when I saw the midwife after I asked for sweep. My midwife yesterday also put my partner off having sex with me as she said āthe baby can feel everything you doā so now it has weirded him out completely & wonāt touch me until baby is out now apparentlyšš¢
I had a sweep at 40w and also had sex which seemed to trigger and start things off! Also used an exercise ball to get things moving too!
