How to lose weight

I’ve gained loads of weight after my 2nd pregnancy. I’m at my biggest. My metabolism is non existent now. Any suggestions how I can lose weight without making myself poorly/have a crash? I have CFS so medical advice is not to exercise. Any suggestions of exercises which is gentle enough and CFS friendly that I can try? Thank you

I have finally recently been diagnosed with fibromyalgia after years of fighting with doctors 🥲. I have always found swimming or even walking in a swimming pool the best . Take it steady even if it is only 3 laps it will help 😊

I did intermittent fasting after my first pregnancy for 7ish months - I wasn't super strict with it but I gradually lost all of my baby weight and more and I didn't put anything back on either. I used the Fastic App. I'm now pregnant with my second and I will do the fasting again after baby, not straight away but when I'm ready x

I am in a very simular situation. Have you got a smart watch to track sleep, diet and exercise? If not buy a note book and write everything down. (Water intake, nutrition , sleep ,mindfulness and exercise) Tw (mentioned of calories) I'm starting calorie deficit to help use energy I have and lose weight from being deficit. I have limited mobility and can not exercise much (due to heds/pots) but even slow walks , tidying house , floor/chair exercise , yoga/plates free on youtube helps alot getting heart rate going. I've been advicses not to do intense exercise instead do band stretches and very low weights. (This gets the heart going and supports weight loss). Sometimes focusing more on the nutrition side and low calories intake when you are unable to do alot of exercise. Finding out BMR (not BMI) for your height and weight is good start. Hope this helps pm me if need anymore support 😊

I am a bit surprised at the medical advice, do you have progressive exercise plan? Just FYI when my fatigue was at worst, I was advised to run every day, I started at 1 minute and took several months to get to 6 minutes, that's with prioritising it over other activities... Probably exercising following a program will not work for you, you can very carefully increase your step count.... As for loosing weight, if you sleep and your hormones are ok, then it's really about diet. Try to focus on protein, half plate veggies, quarter protein and quarter carbs. If you are too tired to cook, have a look at some high protein shakes so you get some vitamins too, it doesn't need to be weight loss ones.. actually, at least 20g protein. And fruit/veg as snacks with an egg or so... Make sure you eat regularly and be ok with adding some shakes (if I have fatigue spell I can't cook or eat properly, so end up over eating some rubbish)
