I make raspberry oat bars (from wean in 15 book) and spinach and sweetcorn muffins (from what mummy makes book) and then carrot and courgette fritters which I found on an Instagram post and she adores all 3 - just mix it up a bit. My LO also hates egg so fritters are a good way of getting her to eat them. Got both of my books off vinted for only a couple of pounds each - I did get another but I don’t rate that one very much xx
Also just cheese - the child is obsessed with cheese so we usually have a little cheese snack on the Playmat mid morning as I can’t get away with eating anything in front of her without her wanting something 🤣
Cheese and crackers, breadsticks, yoghurt, pancake, fruit slices
@Emma yes I gave him grated cheese yesterday and he loved it AND it kept him occupied for ages!
@CeeCee ohh I forgot about breadsticks now they’re a bit bigger.
@Emma perfect - I’ll try the muffin and fritter recipes thank you. Are the oat bars ones you make in the microwave? Think I tried something like that before and they were such a horrible texture I threw them in the bin! Might have a look and see if the wean in 15 recipe is a bit different.
@CeeCee what chesse and crackers you use for your lo? x
@Vanesa she likes the jacobs plain cream crackers, I only give her one or two due to sodium, and whatever cheese we have, usually cheddar or red leceister, babybels are handy as well
You do them in the oven - about 15 mins - I sometimes add some grated apple to mix it up a bit and I’ve just brought some mixed frozen berries so will try those too and see what she thinks x
We’re currently going through the same thing at the minute. Any of her usual go to foods, she’s just not interested. I need some ideas aswell
