Alternative milk

Has anyone started their little one on almond milk? And if so how did you do it? She’s nearly 1 and has had been on Neocate since 5.5 months old and I need wean her off it onto another milk. We’ve tried soya and she got really upset on it and we’ve got a suspected allergy to oats so we’re waiting for an allergy test to confirm or deny the allergy

We started our little guy on Ripple which is a pea protein milk. He’s always been on the smaller side so a caloric equivalent was important to me and almond milk had the lowest calories. We just slowly started diluting his milk an oz at a time with the new stuff and gave it a day or two then another oz and so on until it was fully transitioned. He didn’t seem to notice and didn’t have any kind of constipation/reaction to swapping over

We did almond milk and wanted to do it slowly but unfortunately we where not able to find more formula she was on so we had to do faster than wanted. An ounce at a time is best way to do it. We have had more testing down and told to just treat as a lactose problem now(she is 18 months old and they can grow out of it).

Hiya. We tried all sorts of milks but best we found was Pea milk.. it’s more filling and creamy tasting! X

Coconut is the next best option baby would be able to tolerate Almond milk doesn't really have enough fat and isn't nutritional enough

We have a dairy, soya and oat allergy and dietician told us pea milk would be the next best as she said it’s got the most nutritional value. Sadly we are also allergic to peas so was then put onto almond milk! Been on that for a year now!
