We did almond milk and wanted to do it slowly but unfortunately we where not able to find more formula she was on so we had to do faster than wanted. An ounce at a time is best way to do it. We have had more testing down and told to just treat as a lactose problem now(she is 18 months old and they can grow out of it).
Hiya. We tried all sorts of milks but best we found was Pea milk.. it’s more filling and creamy tasting! X
Coconut is the next best option baby would be able to tolerate Almond milk doesn't really have enough fat and isn't nutritional enough
We have a dairy, soya and oat allergy and dietician told us pea milk would be the next best as she said it’s got the most nutritional value. Sadly we are also allergic to peas so was then put onto almond milk! Been on that for a year now!
We started our little guy on Ripple which is a pea protein milk. He’s always been on the smaller side so a caloric equivalent was important to me and almond milk had the lowest calories. We just slowly started diluting his milk an oz at a time with the new stuff and gave it a day or two then another oz and so on until it was fully transitioned. He didn’t seem to notice and didn’t have any kind of constipation/reaction to swapping over
