Toddler keeps getting sick at nursery

Can anyone suggest anything for toddlers to take to try and stop catching everything? My 1 and 2 year olds catch everything but my 1 year old gets so sick and has spent all weekend in intensive care on oxygen after catching another viral bug. I just wondered if anyone can recommend anything to try and help her not get so sick everytime? I know they will catch stuff but she needs a break from always getting so unwell from everything 😥 She seems to get so unwell from everything so I’m worrying

All I can say is it does get better. We are on our second winter of nursery bugs and it’s 100% better. He has caught colds etc but they are just that.. a mild cold.

Black elderberry syrup!

@Heather thank you, I’ve just ordered some now for delivery tomorrow hopefully it works for her she seems to get so poorly compared to other children x

@Naomi thank you, I appreciate that It’s just so horrible how poorly she gets. Everytime she catches something she ends up in hospital on oxygen - they said the next time she gets poorly she’s going to require inhalers to help her breathe 😢 x

It's best to start it around September to boost their immune system and then if they get sick you can up the dose for 48 hours to help them recover Mine are usually out of sorts for 24 hours max doing this My almost 19 month old vomited this morning for the 2nd time in her life ever. She's rarely ill
