He goes through phases up and down. Teething can definitely make my guy not eat. But also they're not growing as fast so their appetites decrease overall after 12m (aside from growth spurts).

Sometimes even during teething they won’t want to eat cuz their tummies might be sick from swallowing excess of saliva etc. I just keep offering and making sure they’re hydrated. Don’t stress they will eat when they’re hungry kinda deal yknow

My son loves food but his eating habits have changed dramatically over the last few months. He is way more reserved and if anything makes him gag he will usually stop eating and just want to breastfeed. But we have been dealing with some really bad chocking episodes and have been working with specialists to find out why he has had so many episodes. He really only eats really soft foods and breastfeeds. He doesn't eat some of his favorites anymore (like chicken he used to eat it so well and now he doesn't)

Same here. I just had a whole meltdown about it because my son refused his dinner and only had milk, a banana and applesauce. I have no idea what to send him for lunch to daycare anymore and it's overwhelming

My son does this with teething, we usually do a lot of puree pouches, whole milk, and bone broth on those days. A slice of white bread has saved many a teething/sick day, too!

Mine does the same thing. They go through phases. As long as she gets something in her belly we are happy. We supplement with milk also.

Mine typically is not a good eater
