Has anybody introduced any finger foods yet? If so which one?

Yep, we're doing baby led weaning and so far we've done: - avocado - banana - sweet potato (steamed/oven roasted) - potato (oven roasted) - cucumber - melon - watermelon - mango - steamed broccoli - steamed carrots - salmon - chicken (oven roast / pan fried with some olive oil) - boiled eggs - tomatoes - red liescter cheese sticks - whole big strawberries (big enough to not all fit in mouth) - smashed avocado on toasted wholemeal bread cut into finger sticks We also did the usual: oatmeal with cinnamon, cottage cheese, and greek yogurt... I'm sure I missed something but generally that's it so far. We started at 6 months, she'll be 7 months next week.

I started with purées at 4.5 months and at 5.5 months I added in fingers foods, the first one I done was toast x

@Nour Huda wow you guys are doing so well.

@Elena how is the baby doing now? Eating happily already?

He has 3 meals a day, I offered a finger food with every meal aswell as a puree which I also don’t puree completely now it’s just mushy with some lumps, he also has 1 snack now as well between lunch and dinner and he still drinks 4 8oz bottles throughout the day and night x

My boy literally eats what I eat (unless it’s junk or sugar). He was happily eating steak the other night. I do make him his own pancakes and fritters to have with breakfast or as a snack. He enjoys all veg so far, loves celery and spring onion the most. Loves all fruit that he has tried and has enjoyed chicken and steak the best out of all the meat and fish he’s tried. He’s 6.5months old and a big foodie!
