Single mom struggling
Anyone here struggling as a single mom like me? Christmas is going to suck for my toddler son this year and I feel so bad getting him one gift but due to life changes with his father getting incarcerated and me not working until his daycare accepts him has been so hard and rough for me. He’s only 1 so he probably won’t remember but I just been trying to feed him and keep necessities in the house until I can work again when he has someone to watch him. I feel so guilty for getting him one present to open on Christmas. Any moms out there in the same boat this year?😣
I completely understand where you’re coming from. As a single mom who’s had my share of ups and downs financially, I remember when my son was a toddler, I would wrap up things we already had—books he loved, a favorite snack, even random household items like cans of soup. For him, the joy was in unwrapping the gift, not what was inside. It’s the little moments and the love we give that matter most. I’m so sorry you’re going through this, and I truly feel for you!
