I work in elderly care and reluctantly told my work at just over 6 weeks, because I started having some bad morning sickness and couldn't really hide it ! Glad I did as I need to now be risk assessed and there will be certain duties I can't do. I'd say you should probably tell your work soon for similar reasons ! You can tell just your higher ups, your other colleagues don't need to know yet if you don't feel comfortable.

I’m going to tell my work when I go back after the holidays, I’ll be 9 weeks. Sometimes it’s better telling them a bit earlier incase you need time off for apps or illness etc 🙂 x

I work in the nhs and told them as soon as I found out due to risk assessments etc x

Thankyou so much🥰

I told mine a few weeks ago as I work with some chemicals/stuff I cant use now & had no idea xx

If you’re happy to I think it’s worth telling your boss earlier. Just incase you need support or time off. I’m going to have an early scan and if it’s all well I’m going to tell my boss then.

I work in a young offenders and told my boss as soon as I knew pretty much, and glad I did! I’m on reduced duties now because I’ve been risk assessed. Also meant I haven’t had to think of excuses for time off for appts etc

I'm also going to tell work when I go back, I'll be 9 wks 5 days. I'm planning to take a lot of time off sick because of sickness so makes sense

My sister is a radiographer and told work by 3 weeks to change duties. I’m a marketer so didn’t tell work until I could no longer hide the bump

I told mine the day after I found out because I work alone as a mental health nurse in the community
