My OB told me that if I feel good I don't need to wait, but if there is still pain then I should. At my 6 weeks she asked if we'd tried yet so (not a Dr) but imo if you feel you want to/can you can always try :)
Definitely not struggling with that either, haha, but I saw my midwife today at 7 weeks. She asked if we had already tried (no), but didn’t seem concerned if we had. She wanted to know if I was done bleeding. Then she asked if I wanted to be checked, but it seemed like she would have given me the go ahead either way. At 6 weeks, with no bleeding, no pain, and no concerns of your own, I think you would be fine.
We only waited till 4 weeks
I went when I felt ready too. Around 4 weeks. The 1st couple times hurt then after it was okay. I’m 7 weeks pp now.
Did it prob at 3 weeks I had no tears thankfully so I felt good once bleeding stopped No discomfort or pain I think it’s more when you feel ready and comfortable also if you are healed properly
fr I'm still having pain 9 weeks pp so I'm waiting but ,,,
I mentally was very in the *mood* by like 3 days postpartum and was so bummed we couldn’t do it. But due to a LOT of pain from an episiotomy we waited until 9 weeks PP. I would really advise you wait until you’re cleared, just in case it makes things worse!
@Jess me neither we are so exhausted lol and between all the feedings when are people finding time ? I get like ..2-3 total Hours of sleep if that lol bed is no longer a sacred space- just a place where we nap
I didn’t have the energy nor did I want my vagina or boobs touched
