How to stop Progesterone
Hi,
I’m 16 weeks today - my guidance is to stop at 16 weeks. Can anyone else confirm if they just stopped suddenly or eased off? My midwife is really hard to get hold of!! Thank you!

I immediately stopped it and I’m nearly 22 weeks pregnant. Baby is perfectly fine xxx
I have recently stopped my progesterone I was taking 2 pessary a day and then cut down to 1 a day for a week and then stopped I spoke to my midwife and she suggested I cut down before stopping so that’s what I did hope this helps x
@Courtney oh I was told to just stop but all seems ok 🙏
I think it just depends on what your comfortable with or what your health provider thinks is best in the current situation xx
Is it the pessary? If so I just stopped but mine was till 34 weeks
